Specific responsibilities include:
• Exploration of the existing Treasury datasets particularly those currently outside the legacy Treasury system and those with heavy manual dependencies
• Ensure all required data is included in the Data Migration plan and that the FIS Quantum outputs do not require further manual intervention
• Ensure adequate testing and controls are in place to validate the Data Migration is executed effectively, adapting the process for any unforeseen challenges
• Become familiar with the Quantum reporting engine to support the Regulatory Reporting team in creation of an extract to feed the Whistlebrook ALFI System
• Write SQL queries/Power BI Dashboards to create reports which support comparisons between the legacy and new systems, documenting variances and working with the wider team to achieve satisfactory results
• Review and challenge the planned Business As Usual (BAU) processes to ensure they are streamlined and minimize human intervention
• Co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing on behalf of Finance, ensuring that robust test scripts are in place, all tests are performed, defects are shared and re-testing is completed in good time
• Work with stakeholders to ensure the TMS data identified is replicated in the Microsoft Azure Strategic Data Hub (SDH)
• Construct reports on the SDH to support Finance and wider teams
• Seek to proactively suggest enhancements to improve the TMS processes
• Support colleagues in Finance with the project implementation and remediation post Go-Live
• Manage stakeholder relationships to achieve optimal outcomes
• Champion a data-enabled culture which delivers trusted data enabling our people to spend less time manually manipulating data and more time analysing it to drive better informed, more timely decisions
• Deputise for the Head of Finance and Treasury for Data & Analytics in TMS meetings
