The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and termination of Cat6 and Cat6a branded copper cables to ensure a reliable and efficient network infrastructure. Mount, secure, and organize cable pathways, including cable trays, conduits, and wall penetrations. Ensure proper labeling of cables, connectors, and outlets for easy identification and maintenance. Utilize testing equipment such as cable testers and certification tools to ensure compliance with required specifications. Perform quality checks on cable installations to confirm compliance with industry standards and design specifications. Participate in designing and implementing cable layouts for new network infrastructure components. Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly, following industry best practices. Proven experience as a Data Cabling Engineer or similar role, with expertise in Cat6 and Cat6a copper cable installation, termination, and testing. Cable cutter: Used to cut cables to appropriate lengths. Punch-down tool: Used for terminating cables on patch panels, keystone jacks, and outlets. Tone generator and probe: Used to trace and identify cables within a bundle or behind walls. Label printer: Used to create professional labels for cables and equipment. Level: Ensures proper alignment of cable pathways and connectors. Cable clips and mounts: Secure cables along walls, ceilings, or other surfaces. Screwdrivers and wall anchors: Required for mounting cable trays, conduits, and outlets. Work gloves: Provides hand protection during installation and cable handling. Hard hat: Required in construction or industrial settings. Cable toner and probe: Helps identify specific cables in a bundle. This role can be flexibly based in the UK and select EU locations Picture Yourself At Parexel: The primary role of the Principal Business Process Lead (principal BPL) is to understand Parexel's business partner (aligned internal departments) and Scientific Data Organization (SDO) objectives and requirements in order to lead a multidisciplinary project team in the development and implementation of rapid, reliable and repeatable solutions and services to SDO internal customers. Work independently to build the understanding, delivery framework, expert team to develop RWD and technology enabled solutions for all types of RWE projects. Lead and document the discussions during all phases of an initiative, ensuring the RWE/SDO scope of the initiative is well understood by the SDO / business partner, initiative team and all supporting functions. Support key linking efforts in the training and implementation of initiative across the organization, understanding and leveraging the supportive capabilities within the organization as necessary. Familiarity with the regulatory, data privacy and data security landscape for interventional and non-interventional Real World Evidence projects with and without usage of Real-World Data.
Data Management single point of contact to ensure that the contracted Data Management deliverables are being met - specifically in terms of timeliness, financial management and quality. Ensure the project/program is progressing according to quality standards, SOPs, ICH and/or other guidelines to fulfill regulations (including oversight and maintenance of relevant data operations project documentation). Review of metrics to determine risks and risk mitigation plans as required. Highlight issues/risks to delivery and mitigate risks for both Parexel and the client, developing contingency plans for the project (or providing input to PL).
