Senior Data Engineer - Bangalore Based (BJ-13882)

The Keyrus UK team is expanding rapidly. We require a Senior Data Engineer to assist on a multi-year global Data programme for a strategic Banking client.

Location: Bangalore, India

Salary range: 30,00,000 to 35,00,000 INR

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Implement ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data into Snowflake data warehouse.
• Create and optimize data models, tables, and database structures within Snowflake.
• Implement database solutions to support analytical and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for integrating datafrom various sources into Snowflake.
• Transform and clean data to meet business requirements and ensure data quality.
• Optimize data pipelines and SQL queries for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to address bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work closely with the IT team to integrate data solutions with existing systems.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the integrity of data.
• Adhere to data governance and security best practices.

What we're looking for in our applicants:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 7 years of professional experience in Data Engineering
• Proficient in Python programming for data manipulation and scripting.
• Strong SQL skills for database development and querying.
• Working Experience on Snowflake Features Streams, Tasks, DAG, Data share, UDF, Time Travel etc.
• Proficient with Snowflake architecture and warehouse implementation and management
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and other data warehousing solutions.
