Job Description

To ensure the continued effectiveness of the data privacy operations team, we are looking for a new Senior Data Privacy Analyst to join the Global Privacy Operations team at Entain.

This is an opportunity for someone who has proven experience in a data protection team and applied knowledge of the GDPR & privacy legislation. The ideal candidate will be confident in their abilities to provide expert privacy advice and operational support on complex projects and workstreams. Full training is provided, plus the potential opportunity to travel.

This role will report into the Privacy Operations & Technology Manager and support a variety of operational and project activities within the data privacy team.

What you will do

  • Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
  • Data Mapping and Record of Processing Activities (ROPA)
  • Privacy Enhancing Tooling
  • Privacy Tool Configuration (could also include configuration for other tools used by the privacy team)
  • Programme Integration
    • Working with the DPOs and Data Privacy Manager to implement privacy programme (e.g. new acquisitions / countries entering).
  • Training & Awareness
  • Data Subject Requests (DSAR and Deletion) Management
  • Privacy Project Support
  • Where required operational support may be sought as part of new projects within the privacy team.
  • This may include, but is not limited to, the following:
    • Mergers and Acquisition integration
    • License Changes / Migrations
    • Safer Gambling Projects
    • Tooling
    • Process Creation / Improvements
    • Programme Gaps
  • Query Management
  • Supplier Due Diligence
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Support the privacy team with breach/incident management and regulator reporting.
    • Support the Assurance team with the privacy risk register, including mitigation and corresponding actions.
    • Coordinate privacy activities with international operations across the group.
    • Research and document future requirements driven by upcoming privacy legislation, particularly developments on the new EU e-privacy regulation, EU cookie legislation and the EU AI Act
Qualifications

Essential

  • Applied knowledge of GDPR & privacy legislation, as well as other leading privacy frameworks including CCPA/CPRA.
  • Experience leading and providing expert privacy advice on complex projects and workstreams.
  • Experience with Microsoft office, project management tools, data visualization and privacy tools (e.g. OneTrust).
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience of configuring and maintaining OneTrust data privacy tool.
  • Solid work approach and has the capacity to fulfil responsibilities with limited supervision whilst maintaining effective communications with the Deputy Data Privacy Manager.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to correspond with both customers and senior stakeholders across various teams and departments.
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality in handling often sensitive team and business issues.
  • Customer-oriented person with the ability to educate the business who may not be familiar with data privacy principles.
