We are seeking a Data and Media Researcher to join our team, where you will contribute to the development of our data services to clients. Your insights and output will inform critical decision-making by clients across pharmaceutical, medical and biotech companies, governments, and investors. You will be involved with database management and making sure integrity and accuracy of all data-sets is properly maintained, scoping out new sources for ongoing monitoring purposes and extracting relevant information, as well as helping to curate and distribute push-products to clients.
We are happy to consider full time or part time 9am-1:00pm or similar across the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyse various online sources and content across several life-science areas to identify and extract data of interest for the company.
- Annotations of automatically ingested records and enrich information with valuable data points.
- Help to curate newsletters and intelligence alerts that deliver breaking news stories and insight to our clients.
- Collaborate with Analyst colleagues to make sure deadlines are met and achieve high quality deliverables.
- Update and maintain our database information conforming to standards and schema requirements, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Requirements
- Education to Bachelor degree level in a research orientated field.
- Strong numerical and communication skills are key.
- Experience of using research methods to fulfill a broad scope of data and monitoring requirements.
- Experience in media research and data entry.
- Self-motivated and ambitious with a desire to continually learn.
- Desire to efficiently produce high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational habits and an ability to meet tight deadlines
