What you'll do

Reporting directly to the Data & Reporting Manager, the key purpose of the role is to work on a range of data discovery & analytical tasks and data transformation projects. These will include maintaining and improving reporting content, making pro-active recommendations to drive performance and working closely with stakeholders in the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing easy-to-maintain KPIs as a way of monitoring activity in key areas
  • Designing simple to understand reporting dashboards to enable effective business usage of analytical outputs
  • Creating and updating reports on a periodic basis
  • Designing and maintaining 'best practice/core reporting content' to support the wider organisation
  • Analysing data connected to digital platforms to help drive performance returns
  • Understanding systems integration and data migration to drive data quality
  • Assisting with month-end exercises
  • Data analysis and the testing of new reporting developments

Do you fit the profile?

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who is proficient in Microsoft PowerBI and SQL. You will possess a strong knowledge of Data Products and Development lifecycle and be experienced with Business Intelligence best practices and methods ideally gained within the Automotive-Finance industry.

You will be able to display strong analytical skills and be able to provide proactive insights as well as recommendations for changes. You will possess intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge (V Lookup, pivot tables, data analysis) and be able to demonstrate advanced IT Skills, with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.

Strong attention to detail, good time management and the ability to balance multiple tasks, and switch priority/focus as needed are important skills needed in this role. You will also need excellent written & oral communication skills, with an ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
