Company Description
Based in London and reporting into the Director of Business Intelligence. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team, working alongside database engineers to extract meaningful insights from our data warehouse. You will be responsible for analysing a wide range of data, including but not limited too; financial, revenue, consumer, behavioural, event-driven and transforming it into actionable reports that inform business decisions at every level, aligning with our data-driven roadmap strategy. You will work closely with various departments and senior stakeholders to ensure the data you deliver is impactful and meets business needs.
Job Description- Perform in-depth analysis on structured and unstructured data housed in the data warehouse. With a view to implement a front-end enterprise level BI tool.
- Design and produce clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations for various departments, including finance, revenue, marketing, operations and our digital teams
- Identify key trends, patterns, and insights from complex datasets and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with our Database Engineers and other technical team members to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
- Work with large datasets from multiple sources to provide insights that drive decision-making and business strategy.
- Translate business questions into data queries and actionable insights.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests from different departments.
- Continuously improve reporting processes to increase efficiency and the quality of deliverables.
- Participate in the design and development of new data models and tools to support ongoing analysis.
Essential Experience:
- Experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Proven track record of ideating, executing, and analysing large-scale data
- Proficiency in Data tools such as, SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI, Tableau, Domo or similar reporting/visualization platforms.
- Proven Experience of using analytics tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying data from databases and creating reports.
- Familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar cloud-based data
- Experience with ETL processes, data pipelines and API's.
- Knowledge of statistics and predictive analytics techniques.
- Experience analysing financial, consumer, behavioural, event-driven data
- Experience in analysing user behaviour.
